We are offering for six month rental our family home in St Cross which has easy access to great walks on the water meadows, and a flat 15 minute walk to central Winchester with its shops and restaurants. The home is in the catchment of St Faiths primary school and Kings secondary school and opposite The Nancy Harper nursery.  We are open to dogs; however the house is not geared up for cats.  The house is on a no through road and is quiet.

The house has a large private south and west facing garden with light rooms facing east, south and west including a conservatory facing the garden. Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen/diner (with a Rangemaster induction cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer & microwave);  a utility room with side door to outside (with washing machine); a spacious living room (with piano and TV/DVD player) and a wood burning stove; and the conservatory.  Kitchen, living room and conservatory can interconnect.  From the front hall, there are two rooms - one is a double bedroom  and the other one a study/single bedroom.  There is a downstairs shower room/WC. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - a master bedroom, two other bedrooms (one double and one single), and a family bathroom with bath, shower and WC.  

The house has parking for up to three cars, and a garage which is too small for a car but useful for storage of bins, bikes etc. 

The house is eco and easy to run - heated by air source heat pump, with solar pv and thermal panels.  Bills are additional to the monthly rent  (broadband and TV Talktalk Fibre 35 38 Mbps, council tax,  electricity, water). 

We have suggested rental from 1st February - however if a family wants to move in sooner because of primary school application deadlines we would be open to a discussion about this.
