This listed, former mill worker's cottage was built by the Strutts of Belper in the late 1700s. Set back from the road, in a secluded row of cottages, it is full of real period character and charm. The property includes a living room with original quarry tile floor, a fitted kitchen (including fitted oven and washing machine with space for a fridge-freezer), a comfortable bedroom, and bathroom with a shower over bath. The cottage is small (lounge size 3.25m x 3.4m) and would be ideally suited to a single person. Due to it's location there is no allocated parking or garden, but there is a public car park within a couple of minutes walk, for which Amber Valley offer a range of parking permits with reductions for residents. 

The centre of Belper is within 5 minutes walking distance, with access to supermarkets, pubs and bars, cafes, a lovely independent cinema and a new library. Parks and countryside are within easy reach. For travelling further and commuting the train and bus station are both less than 10 minutes walk away, providing easy access into Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Sheffield and further afield.
