After 5 years of living here, I'm ready to move back out of the city. Renting seems to be a nightmare these days, and landlords take little-to-no care of their properties. I've done countless renovations and am very house proud, so you'll have a hands-on and quick-to-act landlord.

The property is a 4 minute walk from Star Lane DLR station, and 10 minutes from both Canning Town and West Ham stations that, together, service the Jubilee, District, Hammersmith & City, DLR, and national rail lines. Stratford is also a stones' throw away. You can easily get into the centre of London within 30 minutes. Better yet, if you've got a car, there's parking and quick access out of London.

As for the property itself, it feels like a mini fort with its gated entrance and balcony. It has a south-facing master bedroom with a huge window (ideal for a plant lover), and a smaller bedroom which can be used as a second bedroom (if you're clever about it, you can fit two in there) or as an office. The kitchen has all the essentials a foodie (like me) would need, and the living room provides an excellent hub to host. I'll also be leaving the custom-built sofa bed which is excellent for when guests stay the night, and the flatscreen TV with surround sound. The bathroom has a waterfall shower and large bath, ideal for hurried showers or lazy evenings.

The property will be available to move into from late December.
