Room in a Shared House, Norman Road, TN38

I have two rooms and a bathroom available in a private section of my house, which can be closed off as a completely self contained unit. The rooms are currently set up as a bedroom and a sitting room with a balcony overlooking the sea. However there is a sofa bed in the sea-view room which can be made up as a very comfortable king size bed if you prefer to use it as a bedroom. There is also a small fridge, coffee machine, kettle & milk frother in there.

The house is on Norman Road in the heart of St Leonards, so all the restaurants, galleries & the fantastic Kino cinema are right on the doorstep. It’s also just a 5-10 min walk to Warrior Square station and a stone’s throw from the beach.

The rooms are available from 28 September until the end of April 2025. I will be away for a lot of that time, so you will mostly have the whole house to yourself. There is a well equipped kitchen and utility/shower room on the ground floor and a huge living room with access to a small courtyard in the basement. There is also a log burner in the living room which keeps it cosy in winter.

Couples and sharers are welcome but there will be an additional charge of £100 pcm. I have an extremely friendly cocker spaniel/cavalier puppy so you’ll need to be dog friendly! Just to be clear on the price it’s £900 for the whole unit, and most bills are included (WiFi, council tax etc) but gas & electric will be shared.
