This spacious and unique one-bedroom comes with an additional study and roof terrace. It was our family home from 2019 to 2023, before we moved abroad. We found it an inspiring space to live and work, accessible to both city and nature!

Situated in a heritage Victorian schoolhouse on one of the greenest estates in London, for us the flat is most defined by its gorgeous (and fully-opening) windows looking onto huge trees and an expansive skyline. A bespoke, artist-designed kitchen and bathroom, as well as bright walls and checkerboard floors, add to the sense of enchantment offered by the space. The shelving throughout is made from both reclaimed and live wood, and supported by iron castings.

Entrance is via a private stairwell shared only with the downstairs neighbour, and a roof terrace that nearly doubles the footprint of the apartment is accessible only to you.

This place is perfect for anyone who wants to live in London but not always feel like they're in a city. Tucked just inside of Epping Forest, beautiful forest walks are literally around the corner, while 10-20mins cycling will also have you surrounded by the liveliness of Stratford, Walthamstow, Leytonstone, or Hackney Wick. Cycling to central London takes about 40mins. Easy bus connections will have you on the Central or Elizabeth Lines in less than 10mins. There's also free parking right outside the front door.
