Room in a Shared House, Firs Avenue, N11

Hi!

We are looking for a lodger to join us in our 4 bedroom house in Friern Barnet, N11.

We are a couple and we have lived here for 3 years. We own the house and have been slowly renovating it and finally it is in a good position where we can rent out our spare room!

The spare bedroom is on the third floor and includes a built-in closet, bed and bedside tables. If you want to bring your own stuff, I can take away any furniture you don't want.

There is a spare living room on the ground floor that you can use as your own living or working space. It has no furniture at the moment but this can be arranged!

There is also a separate bathroom that will be used exclusively by you, plus a toilet on the ground floor for shared use. We have our own separate living room and bathroom.

We have a big garden and kitchen. We both work full time and work from home 2-3 days per week. When we are at home we are usually cooking, eating, watching TV, playing PS5 or relaxing. We aren't big party animals, but we do throw 2 parties a year - a BBQ in the summer and a NYE party. :)

About us - we both work in project management in the public sector (NHS & local government), like to travel and enjoy pubs, restaurants, discovering new places, gym & dog walks. We are both very relaxed and easy-going. I am currently learning Japanese as we visit Japan regularly to see my husband's family.

The nearest station is New Southgate (overground) and then nearest underground is Arnos Grove (20-25 minute walk) or Highgate (15 min bus). There's a bus stop right down the street, you can take the 43 or 134 into central London.

Our miniature schnauzer Spyro also lives with us, he has no boundaries and will most likely try to sleep in your bed, so you will need to be a dog-lover to live here! Please enjoy the photos of him giving you a tour of the rooms.
