Description

Short term let for 1, 2 or 3 months from March, April, May, June 2025

This is a short term let for 1, 2 or 3 months, from March-June. There is some flexibility on when you start and end your tenancy, but I will not answer enquiries for any period outside of these dates. Tenancy must begin by 2 April.

The rent advertised is inclusive of all bills: Council tax, Gas, Electric, Internet, Water rates. £700 monthly rent payable in advance and £700 deposit.

I am only interested in letting a single room in the flat for a minimum of 1 months and maximum of 3 months.

The room is a clean, bright, double bedroom in a 2 bedroom shared flat.

You will be living in a shared flat with one other flatmate, me. I am the owner of the flat.

I am an academic lecturer and book editor in my late-40s. I am easy going, I enjoy reading, watching films and going out with friends to concerts and pubs.

I also have a cat, so you must be ok with cats. He is a charming cat who is both adventurous and friendly with people.

The apartment is modern, spacious, quiet warm, secure and light. Easily accessible from nearby transport links. Cool in summer and warm in winter. There are excellent views and a small balcony where you can take a coffee and a book. The flat is situated on the 2nd floor, there is a lift and the flat is wheelchair accessible.

The apartment has fast broadband, washing machine, central heating, modern shower, separate toilet and shower room. A projector with sound provides for film projections in the lounge.

The apartment is situated 2 mins from the underground station at a transport hub, in a part of East London with a rich history, it is set between Cable Street and another parallel street with a view of the Cable Street Mural and St Georges park. 10 mintes walk from Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and the Thames river. 15 mins walk to Brick Lane and the shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife of Shoreditch.

East London is very cosmopolitan and multicultural. The local area specifically has a long and deep history of anti-racism, something I am extremely proud of being a part of. I am very proud to live alongside my neighbours. Racism is not tolerated and racists are not welcome, in my area nor in my home.
