Great local pubs include The Signal and Honour Oak Pub, both within walking distance. The weekly food market at the Horiman Museum is easily reached in around 15 minutes on foot. Nearby Dartmouth Road has lots of shops, restaurants and cafes and the fairly recently refurbished swimming pool and leisure centre.

St David’s is excellent for coffee and The Pantry is great for baked goods and luxury nibbles and the Horseman museum , with its aquarium, butterfly house and award winning exhibitions is lovely for a weekend outing.

A short walk away is Crystal Palace park, with a sports centre, skatepark, maze and music venue as well as the triangle with more shops and amenities.  

The house is in the catchment area for several highly sought-after primary and secondary schools.

For transport, Forest Hill Station is only a few minutes walk away and runs fast and regular Overground services to Canada Water and rail services to both London Bridge and Victoria. Plenty of good bus connections nearby offer routes to Victoria, Gatwick airport or London Bridge.
