Nearby Dartmouth Road has lots of shops, restaurants and cafes and the fairly recently refurbished swimming pool and leisure centre.

St David’s is excellent for coffee and The Pantry is great for baked goods and luxury nibbles and the Horseman museum , with its aquarium, butterfly house and award winning exhibitions is lovely for a weekend outing.

A short walk away is Crystal Palace park, with a sports centre, skatepark, maze and music venue as well as the triangle with more shops and amenities.
