The spaceWelcome to our 4 generation home - we hope you like your stay as much as our family has loved this place since returning from armed service in the 1960’s. There are generations of families still on this street with a real community spirit.
As you enter the property you’ll notice the space for 2 cars on the drive and front garden of this 1950’s built family home. A combination of traditional brick build and modernised interior for all tastes.
The bright and recently built porch can house ample shoes following coastal and scenic walks along the beach, cliff tops and surrounding fields.
As you walk through he house door you notice the staircase leading to the first floor with a door to your left and one to the right.
Left: Our beautifully modernised lounge recently refurbished with log fireplace and solid oak floors and mounted smart TV for extra floor space. A 3 seater sofa bed and 2 Sherlock chairs give that fireplace a cosy surround for evening family time and memory sharing. In warmer months the french doors offer greater access and an airier feel in the rear garden.
Right: The kitchen was completely refurbished into a modern bright and contrasting space in Summer 2021 with breakfast bar and fold away table and chairs for versatility. A bay window overlooks the front garden & drive whilst the rear opens out into the rear garden and patio area.
Rear garden: An enclosed space with patio area and lawns with raised planters with White Roses, Buddleia and young blossom tree. Fully enclosed and equipped with outdoor seating, BBQ and Fire pit all stored in the shed.
1st Floor:
There’s a spacious landing providing good access to all 3 bedrooms and bathroom. The first of which is one the left hand side. This room has office space, built in wardrobes and reading lights built in to compliment the double divan pocket sprung mattress bed for a perfect nights sleep. Wall storage and a safe can also be used here.
Also on the left hand side of the landing is the bathroom. Modernised with stone effect tiles and mosaic features, there’s a bath and 2 showers: One mixer shower and one electric to cover any potential boiler related issues. The bath is combined with shower and screen so all 3 units couldn’t be used at the same time per se, but once in the bath a second person could, if needed, use the shower cubicle with mixer shower saving time on your plans for the evening.
To the right hand side of the stairs are bedrooms 2 and 3 with Bedroom 2 being of equal size to the first and housing the same bed and wall storage. here though, stand alone wardrobes and furniture go well with this bright combination of blush, whist and grey colouring for modern styling.
Bedroom 3 is the smaller of the 3 rooms, perfect for young children and adults. We’ve taken pleasure in being creative with the space using a day bed which opens out into a double if needed and storage for clothing. A fully functional space for a good nights sleep and warm relaxing holiday.
The house is south facing and enjoys good sunshine for BBQ’s on the patio, weather permitting, through April to October (British Summer Time) - We’re certain you’ll love the space and be glad you booked.

Other things to noteThe 3rd bedroom has a day bed which becomes a double bed by sliding out the bottom draw section.
The log burner in the lounge can be used at the guests discretion. Logs and kindling are not supplied. Feel free to supply your own
