Description
The existing tenants are peaceful and considerate professionals, and, in some houses, one or two sensible mature students. There is a friendly atmosphere in the houses but no parties as people are in employment. It's fine to invite a friend to visit.
Total number of tenants per property ranges from 4 to 22 (Hollybank House , a refurbished ex-hotel (Hollybank Cottage, in the same car park has maximum 5 tenants) and all kitchens/sitting rooms are uncrowded as they are large (more than one in some houses) and many tenants work shifts/eat at work (NHS professionals).
One house is between the town centre and the Infirmary and another is between the town centre and the Crichton Campus / Mountainhall Hospital. Others are in the town centre and one is on the east side of town with a large garden and private parking. Each house/room has its own unique style (all of the same high quality) so there is generally something to please any viewer.
The rooms have double bed, other bedroom furniture and desk and chair, Several have a sofa/armchair. Most rooms have full ensuite facilities or a private bath/shower room next door.
The kitchens are well-equipped and there are one or two big sitting rooms in each house. In the two larger houses, washing machines and dryers are coin-operated at £3/£4 to wash and 50p/£1 to dry (large commercial machines which take big loads). In the other houses the cost of these is included in the rent. Other housebills are included in the rent (council tax, utilities, waste disposal, licence for shared Tv, wifi).

Rent ranges from £500/month to £720/mo for a single person (depending on rooms size =/- ensuite etc.). Most ensuite double rooms are £690/mo) and there is a small surcharge for a couple/twin (approx £50-£60/month).
There is a weekly cleaner and we provide a 24 hour emergency call-out service.
Some of the rooms in Hollybank are wheelchair accessible.
We are willing to consider pets in some of the houses, and would welcome them if we feel they would happy and wouldn't pose any problems for housemates or us.
We are always happy for a tenant to change rooms/houses if requested (we like to keep our good tenants!)
Smokers are welcome but it's strictly no-smoking indoors.
The maximum number of tenants per room is two.
