The flat is within very easy walking distance for all public transport to major cities such as Leeds (15 miles) & York (22 miles) and the pretty historic market towns of Knaresborough (4 miles) & Ripon (13 miles). Leeds/Bradford Airport is only a 30 minute drive and there is an airport bus pick up stop just a few hundred yards from the flat. Harrogate Conference Centre is a lovely easy 20 minute walk away, 5 mins in car/taxi - 1 mile max. The Yorkshire Showground is a 30 minute walk, 7 mins in car - 1.7 miles. Bus pickup to RAF Menwith Hill very closeby. There are numerous beautiful country walks, historic houses and places of interest around the Harrogate area such as the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, Ripley Castle, Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall, the Bronte Parsonage at Haworth for example.
