Daisy Cottage is a beautiful one double bedroom, unfurnished, three storey property set in the grounds of a renovated non-working farm on the edge of the Cotswolds.
On the ground floor is a large kitchen diner complete with washing machine, oven, fridge and freezer. A dining room table is available upon request. There is a large storage cupboard on this floor that houses the hot water tank and electric boiler.
The good sized lounge and bathroom with over bath shower are on the first floor and the bedroom with small toilet are on the second floor. The far-reaching views from the top floor are stunning.
The cottage was fully recarpeted and redecorated in 2022 and benefits from electric heating, Council Tax Band A, an outdoor balustrade and lovely surroundings.
Situation:
Daisy Cottage is one of two long term rentals in the grounds of the non-working farm. Also on site are three holiday cottages and the owners'/landlords' property. The site is accessed from the main road by a farm track so an independent means of transport is essential. Due to the holiday cottage business, vans, caravans, trailers, pickups and lorries are not permitted on site and Daisy Cottage comes with one parking space. The prospective tenant must be comfortable with and respectful of the holiday cottage set up.
The cities of Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester are around 35 to 45 minutes' away. Access to the M5 is very easy. If working locally, the village of Kingswood is a 2 minute drive, Wotton-under-Edge a 5 minute drive and Yate / Chipping Sodbury, around 15 minutes' away.
There is no public transport nearby.
Other things to note:
- Daisy Cottage is not suitable for couples or those with children.
- No more than one vehicle can be accommodated within the parking area.
- Noise on site is not permitted within the hours of 11pm and 8am.
- Utilities and council tax are not included in the monthly rent.
- A deposit of one month's rent will be required to secure the Tenancy.
- References and all the usual Right to Rent checks will also be required.
Daisy Cottage is ideal for someone quiet seeking a rural peaceful retreat on a mid to long term basis however we would also consider someone wanting a Monday to Friday arrangement (rental costs for a Monday to Friday set up will differ from the £845 pcm stated and will warrant further discussion).
