Hi! We’re looking for someone to sublet a ground floor double room in our Deptford house-share for 8 months beginning from the 1st January 2025.

Our house is on a quiet, residential street with easy access at the bottom of the road to the charming Folkestone Gardens and its amazing café. It is close to the bustling high streets of Deptford and New Cross, while the beautiful Greenwich is a short walk away along the river. We’re fortunate to have a bus stop at the top of the road with regular buses to Canada Water tube station if you need to get into central, though you can also easily walk to train stations in Deptford and New Cross.

The house has three floors, with five bedrooms, a sizeable kitchen with two fridges and two freezers, two bathrooms (one with a toilet and bath/shower and the other with a toilet), and a living room in the attic that comes with two skylights offering panoramic views of the neighbourhood.

There is also a decent size garden with a patioed area and a padlocked shed, though it does need a little TLC to bring it back to its former glory, so if you’re a green-fingered gardener that’s a bonus.

This room is available for £770 per month. This does not include bills (water, electricity, gas, and internet) and council tax (we are band D), which we sort out between us.

The room comes with a double bed and some furniture. It's on the ground floor and faces the back garden. It has a wardrobe, a bedside table, a desk and some drawers. If you’d like to see photos please feel free to message and request them.
