At the other end of the building’s ground floor, you will find a large, beautifully furnished twin bedroom. The entire ground floor of the Coach House benefits from under floor heating for your comfort.

The mezzanine level upstairs is accessed via a spiral iron staircase, which was specially commissioned and created as a bespoke feature for the Coach House. At the top of the staircase, you will find an open area which can utilised as a twin bedroom area if needed. The master double bedroom is accessed at the end of the mezzanine level, with a full bathroom fitted with WC, basin and corner bath adjoining it.

Outside the building, there is a patio and lawned garden and  there is a private outdoor seating area with table/benches, and ample parking space for up to two vehicles. The three stables and 5 acre paddock may also be available by separate negotiation.

The Coach House is a wonderful, relaxing and cosy space, yet large enough to accommodate 8 people very comfortably. It sits within approximately 10 acres of grounds, which surround this magnificent property. There are plenty of lovely country walks within minutes of the Coach House. The adjacent paddock and orchard have ancient woodland indicators, and are designated sites of special scientific interest by the Gwent Wildlife Trust. The magnificent Lebanon Cedars and Wellington Fir Trees were planted in the paddock by Edward John Trelawny (13 November 1792 – 13 August 1881) who was a British biographer, novelist and adventurer who is best known for his friendship with the Romantic poets Percy Bysshe Shelley and Lord Byron. You will be walking in the steps of some of the most influential people of their time with incredible, historical importance.

We are situated in the Usk valley, 1.25 miles from Usk and 9 miles from Abergavenny.  'Britain in Bloom' Town of Usk  has lovely restaurants. curiosity shops and a castle!  Abergavenny is just over 8 miles away and is on the foothills of the Black Mountains.  Abergavenny is a historic market town with many amenities. The Coach House is also only 12 miles from Newport and 24 miles from Cardiff and Bristol.
