Area
The Furzedown is a lovely area - a real haven from the hustle and bustle and noise of the city. So much so that when relaxing in the garden you can hear the birds sing. It's a pretty and pleasant area to live with a real sense of community and only a short walk to the local shops, Tooting Bec common and Lido. You have easy access from here to areas such as Clapham (2 tube stops) and Balham (1 tube stop), Wimbledon (2 tube stops) and Earlsfield (short bus ride), but it's also a very quick journey into Waterloo! The closest transport links are Tooting Bec tube on the Northern Line, or Balham and Clapham Junction on the Overground.
