Neighbourhood:
Located between Greenwich and Deptford, this one-bed flat is just moments away from the Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site and the buzzing neighbourhood of Deptford. Taking a scenic walk between 10 to 15 minutes from the flat along the riverfront towards Greenwich, you can reach the Painted Hall, Chapel, the Greenwich Observatory, the Cutty Sark, the Queen’s House, the Maritime Museum, the Fan Museum and the Greenwich Park. In the same area, you will find many popular bakeries such as Gail’s and Paul Rhodes, restaurants such as Rosa’s Thai, cafes, grocery stores, the cinema and the post office. Going the opposite direction towards Deptford, you will find again a wide range of diners and cafes as well as an open market that offers fresh fruits and vegetables at very affordable prices. Both bike shops and dry cleaning services are within walking distance of the flat.

Getting around:
Very often when I meet up with friends, we tend to dwell on the neighbourhood instead of heading to central London because there are plenty to do locally. Still, central London is just over 20 minutes away by taking the train from either Greenwich or Deptford station to London Bridge. The train from Cutty Sark to Bank also offer a quick, 30-minute commute to London. The cycle paths towards central London are just outside the flat. The Millennial Quay Lodge that manages the development will issue you with two parking permits for free. There is also bike storage with a registration fee of £60 and a refundable deposit of £40, if needed.
