Everything you need such as kitchen ware , hoover , hair dryer , hangers . You will have plenty of cupboard space . The only thing we won’t provide is towels and sheets .

We have a lovely park near the house , and round wood park is 10 minute walk .

College road is a ten minute walk with a yum Lebanese restaurant called cedar , and Italian deli/coffee house

Queen’s Park Is a short drive away . Lovely to walk around , good cafe with hummus and hulloumi wraps , and pretty good coffee …

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Centrally located just two miles from the centre of London, Kensal Green is close to the buzzing markets of Portobello and Notting Hill.


College road is a ten minute walk from the flat with the most fantastic Italian deli . Locals hang out here outside seating all year round . They have the best of everything Italian there .

College road also has a brilliant local grocery shop called the ‘Kensal store’ .. with all your organic superfood goodies , and the best Ice cream in London (guaranteed !) .it’s a bit pricey , but great convenience.

Our local pub /bar on college road is called the Island .. great food , and heated outdoor seating for your Sunday roast . If you go a bit further to Kensal Rise , you have the ‘Whippet Inn’ . Our favourite cafe for breakfast is Bel & Nev .. delicious brioche breakfast buns and great coffee !

Sacre Cuore is our local pizzeria, and is extremely good ! .Khas Tandoori for curry. The Paradise ,and The Parlour, another good eating and drinking spot.

We have a lovely local cinema called the Lexi, which has two screens and features arty and mainstream films where you can enjoy a drink while watching the latest releases.

Queens Park has an outdoor Sunday farmers market off Salisbury road 10am -2pm . The best free range eggs , and berries all year round . normally park car at the actual park , and walk there , as parking is a bit tight .


LOCAL TRANSPORT

We have excellent transport links to central London and further afield. There is Kensal Rise train station, which connects with London Underground, and is an 18 minute walk from the flat, or a £6 Uber ride .The line goes from East to West London - There is also a direct train from Kensal Rise to the vast shopping attractions of Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush.


Kensal Green underground station is 15 minutes walk from the flat , to get the Bakerloo line, which is a 20 minute tube ride to city centre where you'll find lots of great shopping, restaurants, fun nightlife and theatre. There are numerous buses and night buses running into the centre of the city from ‘harrow road’ only 5 minute walk from the flat . Buses taking you to Notting hill , portobello market etc .
