The area

A short walk in the other direction is Hither Green with its village-like feel and more independent cafes, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Most of the schools within this area are given an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

The flat is surrounded by many parks with Mountsfield Park less than a 5 minute walk away. We love this park with it’s independent café, tennis courts and with it being home to many community events including the weekly Park Run and fitness bootcamps.
Ladywell Fields is less than a 10 minute walk away with the Ravensbourne River running through the centre and Ladywell Village at the other end.

Transport

Train Stations: 

The flat is placed between Catford Bridge (0.6mi/12 min walk), Hither Green (0.8mi/15 min walk), Catford (0.7mi) and Ladywell (0.9mi).

Trains to London Bridge (10 min), London Waterloo East (18 min), London Canon Street (18 min) and London Charring Cross (20 min).  

The Thameslink runs from Catford and services Peckham Rye (8 mins), Elephant & Castle (19 mins), Blackfriars (24 mins) etc.

Lewisham DLR station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by bus and has services to services to Canary Wharf (15 minutes). 

Buses: The closest bus stop (5 minutes walk) has buses to central (Victoria/Shoreditch) and is a 5 minute walk from the flat. We often cycle to Greenwich which takes 20 minutes on bikes.
