Right in the centre of trendy Hackney, Victoria Park village is vibrant and multicultural and has a fantastic village feel to it. There are numerous pubs, restaurants and independent cafes to choose from as well as boutique clothing and jewellery stores. As the name suggests its right beside Victoria Park, one of the best parks in London. The park itself has several cafes, tennis courts, running tracks and two lakes where you can rent boats. It also hosts a fantastic food market every Sunday.The flat is less than a 10 minute walk to Regents canal which is a great spot for a Sunday walk. Follow the canal to the see some of the many treats nearby such as the popular Hackney Wick (a must for anyone interested in London's brewery scene), London Fields and broadway market. In addition to Victoria Park there are also lots of green spots near by including Olympic Park Village, Hackney Marshes and Lee Valley.There are lots of bus routes right outside the door. Nearest tube stations are Bethnal Green and Mile End and have two bikes available for use upon request.About 15 minutes from Shoreditch and 30 minutes to Oxford circus, central London.
