York Mansions is very conveniently located just off the Walworth Road, a busy high street with all of the shops and amenities you could wish for. It is under 10 minutes’ walk from Elephant & Castle Underground Station (Zone 1, Northern & Bakerloo Lines) and so within easy reach of all of the new bars, restaurants, cinemas, and other attractions which the recent regeneration of this lively neighbourhood has brought. The area immediately outside of York Mansions is newly pedestrianised and small trees and shrubs have recently been planted. 

The flat itself is on the second floor of an Edwardian mansion block (no lift). It is bright, full of light, and will have been freshly painted before the new tenancy begins. There are stripped wooden floors in the hallway, kitchen, and sitting room, with wool carpets in the two bedrooms. The sitting room is a generously-sized space with a three seater sofa, coffee table, two side tables with lamps, and an armchair. There is also a contemporary round wooden dining room table with four chairs in one corner of the room, looking out over the pedestrianised street below. Next door is the spacious main bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, an armchair, an antique chest of drawers, and a clothes rack. The second smaller bedroom is across the corridor, with a window overlooking the back of the building. This bedroom has a double bed and a clothing rack, or alternatively it could be used as a study. Between the two bedrooms is a contemporary shower room with WC, basin, and heated towel rail, with grey slate flooring. There is a fully-fitted kitchen with gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, with a window overlooking the back of the building. There is gas central heating throughout. 

High quality white Egyptian cotton bed linen and white towels can also be provided (at no additional cost). 

The flat will be managed by myself: You will be given my mobile phone number and I will be available to respond to any queries or concerns throughout your tenancy during the day or the evening. This is the only rental property which I own and manage.
