3 Bed Flat, Welland Street, SE10
Overview
Bedrooms: 3 | Bathrooms: 1 |
Max Tenants: 4 | Location: London |
Description
A beautiful flat in the heart of Greenwich, with 3 large double bedrooms, comfortable living room and separate bathroom and WC, perfect for sharers. The flat also has a large but cosy communal lounge with a sofa-bed, and a newly refurbished kitchen. It's full of home comforts including a smart heating system, a high pressure waterfall shower, Smeg oven with cast iron hob, and a blackboard wall for messages. It's accessed through a communal door, then you use either one flight of stairs or the newly renovated lift to reach the flat's front door on the first floor. Two bedrooms and the lounge back onto the quiet road side of the flat, and one looks out onto the middle courtyard. For outside space, just opposite the flat you have the riverside, where you can sit and watch the panoramic view of London from the Thames.
The location is unbeatable - the building backs on to the most popular part of Greenwich, the Thames riverside and Cutty Sark museum, with many pubs, cafes, shops and museums within easy walking distance. It's an amazing place to live, from summer evenings on the promenade to winter afternoons in the many historic parks and pubs. Within 5 minutes walk, you can find: M&S, Waitrose, Tesco, The Gipsy Moth pub, Greenwith Market, the Royal Maritime Museum, Up The Creek comedy club, The Gym, Ole & Steen, Pret, Grind, Starbucks, Oliver's Jazz Bar, Waterstones, Greenwich Picturehouse, and Greenwich Park - plus countless other places to go.
Cutty Sark DLR station is a 2 min walk, and from there you can get to Canary Wharf in 10 minutes, and Bank in 20, making central London easily accessible, and on arguably the best tube line! Greenwich train station is also less than 10 mins walk away, and there are lots of buses, and even a ferry stop within a couple of minutes of the block. Within a 10 minute drive you can access the beautiful Blackheath village, trendy Deptford, the retail park and IKEA near Charlton, and the amenities of North Greenwich, including the O2 Arena.
Basic rent is £3000, but it's preferable if you opt for the £3300 option which includes bills, as this makes life much easier for all of us. Bills included are gas, electricity, water, TV licence, leasehold charges and top spec internet. It doesn't include council tax, because this must always be paid by the occupants. Rates vary based on occupancy of the household, but for 2024/5, council tax is £1280.24 annually for 2+ working adults, or approx £107 per month by direct debit. You can apply for parking permits for residents and visitors, which costs around £60 for a year. The deposit is 1 month's rent and will be held securely by the DPS. Students are welcome but will need to have guarantors. Unfortunately, due to leaseholder rules we can't allow pets. I'll ask for details of previous landlords as references, as well as residency and employment status. There are absolutely no admin fees at any stage.
Please don't hesitate to message if you have any questions, or book in a viewing if you're interested in making Rockfield House your home.
