Description
A renovated & recently redecorated four bedroom terraced house in Upper Clapton. We have lived here for three years and are looking for a tenant to take care of the house for six months (with potential to extend), starting in November as we explore life outside of London.
The Area
The house benefits from being within walking distance of popular Chatsworth Road (with a weekly market and lots of independent shops and cafes) & Stoke Newington Church Street. At the bottom of the road you'll find the lovely River Lea and the green spaces of Walthamstow, Leyton and Hackney Marshes, as well as Millfields and Springfield Parks. Clapton overground station is a five minute walk from the house, with regular trains to Liverpool Street (around 15 Mins, 3 stops) and to Walthamstow (around 5 minutes, 2 stops) where you can take the Victoria Line to access Central & South London. Hackney Central and London Fields are also a short cycle or bus ride away ensuring that all of Hackney is easily accessible.
We are round the corner from Southwold Primary (Ofsted outstanding) and excellent nurseries.
