We're looking for someone who can move in on that weekend (8th - 10th December 2023) or soon after and will be holding viewings over the next few weeks.
The room itself is nicely decorated, clean and partially furnished with a fairly new ottoman bed-frame (no mattress) to be bought from myself.
There is also a built-in wardrobe.
It's a good size (it comfortably fits a double bed, large desk, chest of drawers and bedside table leaving lots of floor space) and gets a lot of natural light throughout the day and views of the trees and green area in the middle of our estate.
We have one living room and two balconies and are on the fourth floor so get nice views and sunsets.

- 20 mins bus to Brixton
- Night bus routes from central
- You can walk to Camberwell, Peckham, Herne Hill and Brixton from the flat. Ruskin Park and Brockwell Park are both within walking distance
I'm Cassie and I'm the one moving out. There is also Ebony and Laura. We're all women and some of us are queer, and the remaining flatmates would like the house to remain female/queer.
Ebony and Laura are in their mid-20s, Ebony works in interior design and Laura in publishing.
We're looking for someone aged 23+ who is friendly, communicative and looking for a flatshare that feels like a home. We love saying hello and catching up when we're all in the flat. We try to keep the flat pretty clean and tidy, and we aren't much of a party house. We've got a communal desk space we share between us for WFH, so if you do some WFH there's definitely space for that, as well as overspill in our bedrooms. Our flat is definitely a home, rather than just strangers sharing space.
Accessibility:
- We're on the 4th floor and there is a lift and 4 flights of stairs. The flat itself is all on one level with ledges at the 2 balcony doors and front door
- The doorways and hallways within the flat are quite narrow and unlikely to be wheelchair friendly, depending on the chair
- There is a phone entry system
Referencing:
• The new tenant would be going onto a 12 month contract with us that renews every 14th November.
They would agree their exact move-in date with me.
- The estate agents will only accept people in employment earning over £21k, sadly not people with guarantors or paying rent up front
- The deposit is £607
- Housing benefits are unfortunately not accepted
- For the referencing the tenant would need to provide 3 months of payslips (or an employment contract if you've been in your job for less than 3 months), 3 months of bank statements, a previous landlord reference and a copy of their passport, plus name and contact information, and evidence of Right to Remain is not from the UK
