The room is decently sized with lots of light! You’ll need to bring a mattress; the room has a newly bought chest of drawers which I can sell for a special price if you’re interested. There is half a bathroom in there also which is super convenient.
The flat has a bright living room with large windows and a kitchen with a dishwasher. There is also a bike shed.
The room is located on the first floor in a safe building. It is around the corner from Rye Lane in Peckham Rye. It is a very lively area and very safe at night! There are many bars, pubs and restaurants in the area. Also lots of supermarkets, gyms, cinemas (Peckhamplex!) etc. Dulwich is 15 minutes away.
You will be sharing with just me. I'm in my late 30s and work as a project coordinator & legal advisor for a human rights charity. I'm looking for someone clean, respectful and easygoing, who values diversity and inclusion, and who respects shared spaces - this is a peaceful flat best suited for someone who wants to keep making it feel like a home : ) (this is not a party house). Non-smokers only please.
I've lived here for over a year and love the area. We've not had the chance to redecorate much since moving in but happy to start working on that !
The new tenant needs to provide the landlord with 2 references (employer + previous landlord) and will undergo a credit check. Your minimum income should be £28,740. Unfortunately we can’t accept students.
Rent is due on the 1st of every month.
