A double bedroom will be available from 8th April in our spacious two bed flat, located 5 minutes from Finsbury Park station walking. The new tenant will replace myself on the current tenancy agreement, which last until 8th October; this has been agreed with the landlord and the letting agent. After that point the tenancy will renew and you will have the option to stay or move out. flat is owned by a relatively small family-run property business. The landlords are very reasonable and have fixed any issues straight away when we've raised them. We will need to provide details to the agent relatively soon so that they can carry out the necessary checks, so we want to find a tenant before the end of January.
The flat in in an excellent location, and is very spacious especially for the price. We are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a 3-floor building, and the apartment features a large kitchen/dining/living space, 2 double bedrooms, a landing space at the top of the staircase and a shared bathroom. The property is well furnished as you will see in the photos. The bedroom becoming available has a double bed, a wardrobe, a set of draws and a desk. Some of the items pictured in the living space will be going in April, such as the TV/speakers, the vintage lamp and most of the art. But hopefully this will allow you to put your own stamp on the place! Every room has radiators and the flat heats up really quickly when the heating is turned on.
Rent is £1650, so £825 each. Monthly bills are made up of council tax (67 each - band C property in Islington), gas and electricity (average 40 each), water (20 each) and broadband (9 each), so you're looking at around £130 a month. Obviously gas and electricity usage is higher in the autumn/winter and then lower in summer/spring.
You will be living with Quiterie, a 25 year-old professional from Hong Kong who works in supermarket sustainability and has lots of other keen interests, such as food, rugby and travel. The kitchen/dining/living area makes this quite a sociable flat which we really enjoy. It's also important that we keep this space tidy and clean for each other to use and relax in. We're looking for a like-minded person; somebody open and sociable while also having their own interests, and who will respect the space.
