Heya, we are Chris (37) and Olivia (31), and are looking for a new flatmate for our 2-bed flat on the corner of Tower Bridge Road and Bermondsey Street; in our opinion the best area in London for young professionals! It’s super central, close to Borough Market, London Bridge, Vinegar Yard and the infamous Bermondsey Mile, plus loads of other amazing restaurants, cafes, beer gardens and indoor/outdoor bars and pubs. It has a nice vibe and the location is great to get anywhere in London.

About the room and the flat:

The room is a double room that shares the bathroom as seen in the pictures.

The bedroom: £1128pcm (plus bills - around £70 for council tax, electricity/gas, water and fibre optic WiFi).

The double bedroom is cosy, quiet, and gets tones of light. Plenty of storage for one person, including a double wardrobe and four large drawers under the bed that are easily tucked away for convenience.

For all the work-from-homers, there is room to fit a desk and chair in the room, but you can also use the dining table in the living room.

The flat is bright, in good condition, comes well furnished, with a simple, modern style.

Features include; high ceilings, spacious living room with wood flooring, double glazed windows, and lounge suite complete with three seater sofa and chair. The kitchen can be open to the living room but can also be closed when cooking. It’s quite big for London kitchens so lots of space. The flat comes fully furnished including all appliances and a TV. It also comes with a gated carpark where bikes can be stored.

A bit about us (your future flatmates):

We are a young professional couple who have been living in this flat for the past 3 years. You will be replacing our current flatmate who we have lived with for the same amount of time.

Olivia works as a People Experience Consultant at a data consulting firm in central London. She works from home and the office. Olivia is from New Zealand originally but has lived in London the past 5 years.

Chris works as Head of Facilities for the London Coliseum (free theatre tickets anyone?!). He works at the office 5 days a week. Chris is from Guernsey originally but has lived in London for the past 10 years.

As a couple we are pretty chill. We like to watch TV in the evenings after work, workout, enjoy cooking nice meals, going for walks on the weekend and going on holidays around Europe when we can. We are really easy going and looking for someone like-minded.

Flatmate wanted:

An easy going, clean flatmate, who respects our cozy home, is friendly, happy to have a laugh, open to chilling with us but also likes to have their own space; and is able to move in on 20 January.
