Description
Hello! I’m looking for 2 friends to share my fully furnished home in Streatham Hill (7 mins walk from Tulse Hill station) from early December. There are two large double bedrooms available that share a bathroom on the same floor (with bath and walk-in shower). The first bedroom has built in wardrobes, original fireplace, desk / dressing table space and chair, king bed and bedside tables. The second bedroom has a king bed and bedside table, chest of drawers, built in cupboard, and a double wardrobe space on the landing. There's also an attic space for more storage.
It's a very spacious Georgian house on a quiet residential street with two lounges, kitchen / dining / seating area, separate laundry and downstairs toilet, bike shed, garden, and a gym space in the garden room. The only other person you'll be sharing with is me (my bedroom is on another floor and i have a separate bathroom). I’m sociable and am excited to find some great people to share with. The only thing I ask is that you both like living in a clean and tidy space and are respectful. Utilities, weekly cleaner, fibre broadband, alarm, council tax, and Netflix included in the monthly amount.
What's going on in Tulse Hill I hear you say? I thought the same when I moved from East London! The house is next to a local park which has tennis courts, and is a short walk from West Norwood High Street which has great pubs / restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and one of the most famous greasy spoons in London. It's then 10 mins on public transport to Brixton, Brockwell Park / Lido, Herne Hill, Peckham, and Dulwich Village, and there are direct trains from Tulse Hill to London Bridge (20 mins) and Blackfriars / Farringdon / King's X (15-25 mins).
When I first saw the house I loved the feeling of space and that it wasn't overlooked by other houses - I turned the garden into the Brazilian tropics (working within the limitations of the British climate) which comes alive in the summer and is a great place to hang out.
Please get in touch if you want to find out more about me and the house. It’s a fixed 5 months followed by a rolling monthly term after that.
