Albert Road - 6 Bed House - the top floor 2 bedrooms has a shared bathroom - so this is ideal for 2 friends who want to move in together. Available for Young professionals or mature Students. Albert Road is 2-4 mins from Teeside Uni, in the City Centre and one of the safest streets in Middlesbrough, we have a security Sensor light in the back yard for additional security. Renovation & cleaning finished Mid August 2024. We can currently fit a car or two behind the house. Cleaning will be provided for the common area on a sporadic basis. With 6 in the house - it is important you clean up after yourselves, cleaners will not do washing up.

The House is unique - it has been an AirB&B for a year so it is high standard, all beds have new soft toppers for comfort, all bedding is included Pillows, Duvet, Sheets, toppers, mattress protectors, towels, starter kit of soaps. There is shared Living room, Kitchen and Dining area - the kitchen is fully equipped with Oven, Dish washer, Washing Machine, Microwave, 2 fridges, a storage cabinet for each person, ironing board & Iron, Vacuum, pans, cutlery, china, glasses, kettle, a stock of cleaning supplies and a stock of free food - just like you would find in an AirB&B. Sharing a room is not allowed - this is against licensing regulations - friends can visit but not stay over more than once a week.

All bills included for students- Wifi, Water, Gas & Electric - for Working professionals you will need to share the cost of council tax which is about 153 per month and the Council tax bill will be put in the name of the Working Tenant as per UK Law - to be confirmed, students get a Council Tax exemption from the Uni and give this to the Council so you wont pay this tax.

 If you have a good credit reference you may be able to apply to pay insurance instead of the deposit - please search OpenRent for this option.

Contract, referencing, deposit protection, right to rent, how to rent, inventory and payments will all be done through OpenRent which is an Online Agent. This process takes about 1 week. When you apply for a room you pay 1 week's rent to Open Rent which they hold pending processing of your application and checks.
