The vibrant Cowley Road shopping and restaurant area is only slightly further and can be reached by bus, bike or on foot.

Three primary schools and a secondary school lie within easy walking distance.

The Property

This is a good-sized and comfortable family home with many interesting and bespoke features. It has been extended beyond its original layout to include a third bedroom in the loft and a set of rooms beyond the kitchen, leading to the garden.

Ground Floor

A striking front door leads to an entrance hall and the stairs to the first floor as well as the door into the rest of the ground floor.

To the front of the property is the living area, with an attractive (but non-functional) fireplace and large windows overlooking the front garden which has a long and secure fixed rail for locking up bicycles as well as bin storage and screening plants.

Beyond the living area is the dining table and seating, with windows overlooking the enclosed and sheltered courtyard. A door leads to the fitted kitchen with a large number of storage cupboards, built-in oven and hob and double bowl sink as well as a stand-alone fridge-freezer and spacious understairs storage cupboard.

From the kitchen, there is access to the courtyard and a sliding door into the light and airy bespoke wooden-floored conservatory. Here there is a worktop along one side with cupboards below and the double patio doors lead into the garden which includes edible plants such as fruit bushes, rhubarb and a productive fig tree. There are two long washing lines and a patio table plus seating. Garden tools are provided to assist the tenant in maintaining the garden.

Off the conservatory is the utility room with washing machine and water softener and garden tools as well as the shower room with WC, bespoke wash-hand basin and shower.

First Floor

The spacious family bathroom is at the top of the stairs, with WC, bidet, bespoke wash-hand basin, bath and walk-in shower.  It boasts unusual and attractive wooden flooring as well as plenty of storage on shelving and in 2 cupboards. There is also a cupboard containing the gas combi boiler.

There is one step up to the landing, off which is the second bedroom with single bed (a double could also fit here) and shelving which overlooks the courtyard below and then, at the front of the property, the master bedroom which has a double bed and plenty of shelving in addition to a built-in cupboard/wardrobe with a clothes rail under the loft stairs.

Second Floor

The loft room is currently set up with a table and office chair, but could fit a double or single bed instead. There is a large under-eaves cupboard at the top of the stairs plus plenty of open under-eaves storage which includes rails for clothes and some shelving.
