Nestled off the beaten track but accessible for nearby shops, cycle ways, pubs and great walks.. Set in an area of about 1.5 acres, this country retreat offers more than you bargained for !
We are surrounded by a farm ! That means we get deer, hedgehogs, jack rabbits, hares, grouse and all of kinds of wildlife wondering in. Don't worry, they keep out of your way but if you are lucky you might see them. It's also an excellent spot for bird watchers so I am told.
In fact, we have a viewing gallery in the midst of its own Woodland from where you can sit still and just listen out for wildlife, or hop down and cook something up in the firepit if your tummy's rumble !
For either on hot or cold days you can then enjoy the luxury of an indoor heated pool, have a dip, swim a few lengths (or just float about) and then retire to the hot tub and sip a cold drink or cup of tea. On warm days, why not open the side panel and retract the roof and get the sunshine on your back whilst you swim up and down...
HOT TUB and POOL are 100% private to you and your group
On cold winter nights, why not relax in the snug in front of a roaring fire and dry off whilst dinner is being prepared, or call out to one of our many outlets that can deliver to you.
Or retreat to our log cabin with wood burner away from the main house.
Or simply nestle into the lounge and watch or film or catch the latest game or play a dvd, a video game or just read a book...its all up to you.
The nights are free from light pollution so it makes for great star gazing if this all becomes too much, just have a midnight stroll in the acre woodland and get lost in the gaze of the stars.
In May 2021 we are opening up the new log cabin with King bed and your own log fire. Please enquire about this new feature. it is included for weekly stays but is subject to additional payment for other stays to cover the setup/ clean down cost.
In Spring 2022, we are opening up a brand new expanded kitchen in the cottage side of the house. Also a new wet room.
If you have any further requirements, for example we can provide gazebo, entertainment, face painting, hog roast facilities etc, please get in touch for more details !

Some rules...
For hot tub and pool usage, please remove makeup and shower before use otherwise the quality of the experience will degrade.
For those wishing to celebrate with confetti or other materials, no problem but is your responsibility to clean up please and failure to do so may incur an additional charge if it sticks
PLEASE NOTE This is a rural location with the main attractions being this setting and other activities mainly relating to wet facilities. Hot tubs are rotated at parts of the year. Ease assume 4 to 6 seater availability depending on maintenance schedules.
Broadband is provided but is subject to the whims of the telecoms provider and is not seen as a key feature of the stay. We have however recently installed a broadband network (SIM Wifi) which is accessible from the house- data can be purchased on demand, please contact our team for further details.
