Description
I (30YR female) live at and own the property, and I am looking for 1 x tenant to rent out my second bedroom.
The property is a terrace 3 bed house, on a quiet cul-de-sac styled road.
Downstairs is an open plan layout, with a front/TV room that leads into the dining room/office. The kitchen at the back of the property, and looks out onto the garden which is great place to escape to in the summer for food and drinks and soak up the sun.
The kitchen itself comes equipped with white goods, rice cooker, and an air fryer. Albeit, the photo of the kitchen in this advert will look a lot different when June 1st comes around, as I am in the middle of renovating it. The renovations will be completed before a new tenant's move in date, but picture farmhouse green cabinets, herringbone floorings and white marble tops with a bi-folding door that leads out onto the patio.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms:-
- The box room is not being rented out, and instead I have converted into a separate office (which my current housemate is using on her WFH days).
- There is the master room (my room), situated at the front of the house, and the second room which I am looking to fill for this vacancy is situated at the back of the house.
- The room in question that I am looking to rent out is a spacious room with lots of storage space, that comes with a double-single bed.
Nearby amenities include; The Old Daily complex which has Cineworld, McDonalds, Nando's, Asda, Aldi, B&M, and a Gym. There is also several tube lines that can take you into the heart of London within 30-35 minutes, including the Metropolitan, Piccadilly and Central line, along with the rail services. The nearest shopping centre is White City Westfields which takes about 20 minutes on the Central line and has every shop under the sun available, and many more activities such as bouldering, bowling, mini golf etc.
Our local high street (Ruislip High Street) has upped their game with restaurants in the last 2-3 years and there are various cuisine options available right at my door step. Ruislip also has a farmers market on, twice a month, down at the old library which is very scenic and sells the most beautiful foods and trinkets so I would highly recommend checking it out.
As stated I am only looking for 1 tenant for my second bedroom, not couples or families, and my preference is for a female tenant that is a professional between 24-40 years old, but I am open to all that apply. My current housemate that has been with me for 4 years is sadly leaving, as she has just bought her own property so is moving away from London. Her agreement ends in May so I am looking for someone to fill the position from June onwards.
