Room in a Shared House, Hudson Close, CT2

Hi, my name is Charlie. I have a 4 bedroom house in Sturry, Canterbury and I’m looking to rent two rooms out to a single occupant. The two rooms and en-suite are on the top floor. The bedroom consists of a double bed, 2 bed side tables and built in wardrobe and then there is an en-suite shower, bath, sink and toilet, which was newly fitted earlier this year. There is a second room, that could be used as a living room, which has a built in wardrobe and cupboard space. There is also a small landing at the top of the stairs between the two rooms.

I live in the bottom of the house on my own. Shared use of kitchen and garden. There is parking on the drive and extra space for storage if needed. Happy to rent the room as is or I can take the furniture out. Currently I have TV with Sky in the living room, which I’m happy for you to watch if available and you will have access to a Netflix account, SkyGo and unlimited WIFI. Sky has the full movies package and box sets. There is a tele in the bedroom currently, but this does not have a sky box, only access via SkyGo.

I’m a professional working person and out at work Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm. Sometimes I look after a dog called Peggy, she is very friendly and never left on her own. I am ideally looking for someone who is a clean and tidy, working professional or a mature student, but not someone who is working from home permanently. Happy with a male or female tenant and happy with a smoker, but must smoke outside or in the garage.

The road I live on is a quiet cul-de-sac in Sturry, Canterbury, 5 mins walk from the train station, bus stops, local shops and fish and chip shop.

Rent per month is £750 with a deposit of £500 upfront. All bills are included in the monthly price. Reference checks are required. The rooms are available to rent from October.
