As for decent pubs- spoilt for choice, Easton White Horse is 1 mile and the sister pub at the Duck at Campsea Ash 2miles with several other choices not far away. The sea at Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Felixstowe all less than half hours drive with Southwold, Walberswick just a little further.
